About Mike
Mike Brady began his career as a livestock auctioneer and property agent in a vibrant country town, Gunnedah, in rural NSW. Working alongside his father and brother in a family business that was established over three generations with some 87 years of history. This meant helping people through the challenges of droughts and floods and changing livestock and property markets. Mike has always adopted a hands-on approach in meeting with people in person, to provide a genuine understanding of the customer’s individual needs. From there, to then tailor a customised solution to address their current needs and objectives, while allowing for future-proofing, to provide for short and long-term savings. Coming from a family background with five brothers and sisters, and having to deal with the everyday challenges in the livestock and property industry, Mike was able to balance his work commitments with his other past times of playing music in local bands and also pursuing Japanese Martial Arts which he had studied in Japan and Australia for over two decades. This diversity of background, complemented by his later focus in embracing new technologies, led to success in the field of online property auctions (where he achieved recognition as the number 1 On-line Agent/Auctioneer in NSW in 2020).
Expertise
Continuing on from his extensive experience in the property industry over several decades (winning Rate My Agent Agent of the Year five years in a row), Mike continued to work in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie property industries while also creating and developing specialised skill sets and customer sales and support networks in the renewables market of Solar and Battery systems. This included expanding his experience as both a “online and on-site” fully-licensed Class 1 property auctioneer and agent, assisting many customers in securing homes that had previously been mostly neglected by other Sales Agents.
Since then, Mike has observed a disturbing gap in the contact and involvement received by buyers looking to purchase property in Newcastle and other parts of New South Wales. As a result, drawing on his extensive market expertise and understanding of the buying and selling process in real estate, he has created this new and unique resource to assist purchasers throughout Australia and beyond. Mike’s knowledge and attention on the mechanics of moving through the purchase transaction has fueled Mike’s desire to assist more purchasers in securing the properties they want, at a fair price, and with reasonable conditions, without the worry and fuss of doing it yourself.
In addition, Mike has been working extensively in the solar industry for over four years, where pride of installation and delivery of only quality products, installed by licensed professionals, have meant that during Mike’s tenure, he has never had an adverse ruling against him or the company he represents with NSW Fair Trading. In addition, he has assisted over two thousand people in evaluating the suitability of various solar investment options, and thence to select appropriate choices to suit their needs. It’s been a journey of helping a diversity of people via “keeping it simple” via clarity and transparency to assist people in understanding the savings benefits, costs and payback period of a quality solar and/or battery installation.

Mariella Brady, also known as Ella, is thrilled to be joining the Mike Brady Property Solutions team as Customer Service Manager. She is passionate about customer service and ethical marketing.
Her extensive experience in hotels in the Middle East and the Philippines, combined her commercial and industrial product sales and later leadership roles in both marketing and administration in healthcare, has given her an exceptional depth of knowledge. This means Ella is committed to providing excellence in everything she does to help and support property, solar, and battery buyers in their pursuit for quality and effective communication and service.
